Sorry, like the old FGCU logo better.
“ I’m loath to praise Apple TV’s MLB broadcast,…”
I wish I had a dollar for everyone that bitched about AppleTV having baseball games this week. Get over it! It was a free broadcast!
Sports broadcasting is so fragmented right now. I pay for Peacock and another streaming service to get USA network to watch Premier League but I gladly do it because I want to watch the games. It’s a minor inconvenience at best.
Caps don’t have a black part of their collar. It’s just a navy part Oshie cut out.
You beat me to it.
The new eagle likeness/font has been prominent on most FGCU sportswear since my kid enrolled there in 2016. The old one visible only on campus signage and website. Not at all surprising, but agree that it falls short of the mark. The schools strong points are sports management, basketball, business, and engineering. Probably needs to elevate their graphic design program.
Love it when disparate favorites of mine cross – in this case Ghost and baseball. Love seeing Papa in the full, and correct, uniform.
Apparently he’s a big baseball fan? Who knew?! And I love that he wore a jersey with SNoB (stage name on back).
Correction – Lions HC Dan Campbell says the TEAM’S COACHES will wear grey pants this weekend after winning while wearing grey pants last weekend.
Watching the Leafs/ Sens game now. The Leafs are wearing the milk logo as shown a few days ago, not the full circle logo thank goodness. I hate ads on jerseys but this milk logo is not to bad IMO.
The multiple colored caps at Pitt vs Tennessee: Teams often have multiple players in different colored hats make signals on the sideline to confuse defenses and distract them from the actual signal caller.
BTW, the Reds wore their “Los Rojos” unis last night.
