I have to chuckle at a Penn State football uniform reveal. Oh, we have white shoes and a number on our helmet this week.
You forgot the gray facemask, blue stripes on the pants, and white trim on the jersey.
I had the same thought – oh look, here is our marginally less boring look this week
Pacer’s new City Edition uni should be called the Headstone. Ugh!
that jersey… woof. i’ll call it the tombstone, but i’d rater buy it a tombstone
*headstone* excuse me
That Pacers jersey is brutal. Please NBA and Nike, stop with these endless jerseys. You’ve clearly run out of ideas already.
DeSean Jackson’s twitter handle contains the number 11 not 10. He wore 11 with the Eagles.
Actually, both of those statements are false.
I’m guessing Dragic had Indiana on the back of his shoes, because those are probably the University team shoes, with Adidas being their shoe supplier.
I don’t believe the Chicago Bulls are a university.
Exactly. I think adidas supplied him with these as they have (Bulls) red striping. Looks cool, even though the guy never was a Hoosier. I love college issue sneakers found in outlets, I once owned a pair of purple and black TCU Nikes.
The La Tech Columbia blue alternates seriously deserve their own lede. An absolutely visually stunning retro uniform. The Techsters primary uniform is quite nice, but this weekend’s combo takes it to a whole different level.
Grab bag typo: it’s Olmsted Falls, not Olmstead.
Thanks. Fixed.
Unis and concussions. Two things Mike McDaniel is clearly clueless about.
Access denied on the Olmstead Falls apostrophe link.
Same problem.
And there appears to be no actual link for last item in Grab Bag.
Still waiting someone to ID the sweet boilers hockey hat!?!
Just tried it, could not find anything under boiler on hockey skates or stove on hockey skates. My guess: a high school team or some obscure team from Finland or Sweden. Great hat, absolutely.
I doubt it is for a foreign team. The price tag shows it is sold by Ross Dress for Success. I put the codes into a Google search. Came up with nothing productive. A complete picture of the tag might help.
