I’ll thank the Mavs not to wear their new city jerseys to DC this year.
Well done, sir. -C.
Wow, the Curve have been in Altoona for 25 years! Seems like just yesterday that ballpark was built.
Nice looking logo, but while I understand the use of the two number fonts, it just doesn’t look right.
For the Syracuse video, I’m pretty sure that’s a old tartan gym floor…not parquet. It was a rubber surface that destroyed gym shoes and skin whenever you fell on it.
Played on that surface at Pepperdine’s Firestone Field House during a summer basketball camp. Weird how that material gained popular usage all those years ago. -C.
That ASU video is fun and that hockey sweater is very good. I like the Curve 25 seasons logo with the state outlines in it, but the Curve wordmark needs an update. I love scripted team names but this one looks too 90s. As for the Mavs Air Florida font, that is a razorsharp observation. Maybe they should add a faux advertising patch, as the company is defunct. OK, maybe they should not.
Uniwatch team…..you all need to do a story on KC Mack of Mack Provisions. He makes wallets out of vintage baseball gloves. And he’s doing that with old footballs too. All handmade and fantastic. Mackprovisions.com
“Canucks have a new helmet ad. ”
They do not have a jersey advertiser though! Hope it stays that way.
Don’t get your hopes up…

D’oh! Says they are working on getting jersey ad.
Tritons is a pretty good nickname, but the Mermaids would be better.
Where’s the NHL jersey leak mentioned in the intro blurb?
Oh, I took that down, because it was something we’d already seen a while back — not a new leak. Blurb now adjusted.
UC San Diego are also the Tritons.

Not relevant to today’s content but I’m really getting rankled over the comments in various blogs and news sites about the San Jose Sharks throwing back to the California Seals teal colors. There’s always a couple of comments, “don’t bring back the white skates!”… the Seals didn’t wear white skates in 74-75 or 75-76, the two seasons they wore the teal colors because Charlie O. had already sold the team and they no longer had to wear them. In fact, they went back to conventional skates near the end of 73-74 when Finley unloaded the team and they were still wearing green and gold.

I hope the Canes don’t wear the anniversary decal when they wear the Whalers throwback. That would be an insult to Whaler fans everywhere!
