I still see crypto advertising in arenas, I thought crypto was dead?
MLM scams have been around since what, the 30s? Crypto will live on, it’ll get a very, very few people rich while ending up a money hole for most, much like MLM.
Not until they take the current name off of 1111 South Figueroa Street in downtown Los Angeles will I believe it’s starting to fade away.
Butker has been doing it for a majority of the season, I think after he returned from his ankle injury in week 1 (at same stadium), maybe they have longer studs.

Hope the new MLB Authentic Collection comes out soon. Been looking at some of the Twitter feeds of teams as they arrive to Spring Training and i love those long sleeve nike shirts with just the small logo center chest. The dugout hoodies for this season look good too.
I picked up a lightweight hoodie in my local DSG yesterday. They have lightweight and heavyweight hoodies for 2023. Might want to check it out.
My man! Yeah they have the hoodie I wanted on the website, so grabbing that for sure. Few other items I’m seeing online I guess I’ll have to wait on but great early catch.
In truth, I think the uniforms for the USA field hockey teams are going to be remarkably the same except for the addition of a kit sponsor for the first time since 2016.
They also haven’t posted them when they said they would (10 am Eastern), which is pretty on brand for USAFH.
Interesting: the field hockey team is trying to market/label itself with a nickname. The United Eagles for the women, and the Wolves for the men.
This is usually done worldwide with rugby (every team are the U.S. Eagles, it seems), and to a great extent with Australian sports — Socceroos, Opals, Kookaburras, and the Steelers for wheelchair rugby.
In field hockey, there are also nicknames — Japan are the Cherry Blossoms, England the Lions, Australia the Hockeyroos, Germany are Die Danas, and Argentina are Las Leonas.
The excellent “This Day in Esoteric Political History” podcast covered the Nixon White House uniforms last year. Definitely worth a listen, imo

I was a little disappointed that the coolest military uniforms article focused on special-unit and special-event, mostly ceremonial uniforms. Not on everyday uniforms. But given those parameters, I don’t have much beef with the writer’s list other than that I would definitely include the US Army’s Old Guard parade uniforms: link
Georgetown usually wears navy blue on the road (link) and instead wore “tidal blue”/teal last night.
They wear gray uniforms at home. It’s not GFGS, but actually a school color.
The bit about Butker’s cleats misses the key point – the Nike cleat is a soccer shoe, unlike the Adidas football cleat. This in itself is not exactly a big deal, as it has been done by kickers for years.
What’s more interesting, at least to a soccer player/fan like me, is that Butker appears to be wearing TruSox. TruSox are commonly used by professional players to offer more support and grip within their boots. They used to cut the feet off the team issued socks, but more and more we’re seeing clubs provide “sleeve” socks.
