Before the Apple Watch, there was the New England Patriots Football Helmet Watch, from a company called Fremark in 1986. Looks like it would be seriously bulky and awkward to have on your wrist, but hey, it’s officially licensed with five big functions: hour, minute, second, month, and date! Update: That one’s sold, but the Bears are available!
Now for the rest of this week’s picks:
• Here’s a lot of six 1940s-1950s NFL schedules.
• “Score, the Clean Hair Groom” sponsored this 1969 Football Handbook for college and pro ball.
• Cool cover art on this August 1969 Chargers/Colts program.
• This 1981 New York Yankees View-Master set offers “3-D Action.” Well, duh.
• I’d say that’s Jim Kelly on the card art for this Quarterbacks of the NFL Terry Bradshaw figure.
• Here’s another board game, this one from 1979 with Pete Rose, called Score Baseball Game. One photo shows a Reds uni, the other shows the Phillies. What, no Expos?
• Yankees great Mickey Mantle starred in this 1973 brochure/record titled How to Hit!, which he would know something about. Nice period-specific dropshadow and neon colors.
• ’Tis the season for this Montreal Canadians Christmas ornament!
• Saints fans will “geaux” for this Superdome bank.
• Speaking of stadiums, here’s a (small) piece of the old Astrodome scoreboard.
That’ll do it for this edition of CC. See you back here next week!
How to make a 2 function watch (time & date) into a 5 function watch (hour, minute, second, month, date). LOL
Also a Chicago Bears version of the watch is available.

Pretty sure the Canadiens ornament isn’t vintage.
It says 1991 on the box, which I regret to inform you is now vintage.
I know you’re kidding, but Rose didn’t play for the Expos until 1984
That NFL helmet watch is awesome, love the box too!
