Uni Watch HQ Covid Update

Paul here. As you know, I’m not blogging this month, but I want to thank everyone who expressed support over the two cases of Covid here at Uni Watch HQ. The outpouring of concern was really heartening.

I’m happy to report that while Mary and I had a few ups and downs during the first 36 hours or so, we’re both feeling very good now. Personally, I’m not quite at 100%, but close — no more fever, no more mild aches, no more fatigue. I even went for my usual bike ride in Prospect Park yesterday and expect to do so again today. (I do still have a very mild sore throat, but that’s about it.)

We’re looking forward to testing again on Wednesday, and hoping we don’t get hit later on with rebound cases. Thanks again for all the kind thoughts — it has definitely made a difference.

Glad you’re feeling better. I caught it a couple weeks ago and it took me 12 days before I finally tested negative. Rest up.

Happy to hear you and the Mrs. are improving, Paul. Hopefully it’s all positive news from here-on-out.

Good to hear you are feeling better, continued prayers for Mary and yourself.

Great news. My daughter has it also with mild symptoms, however it’s been hard for her since she needs to be isolated from her 2 young kids.

I’m so glad you are both feeling better. Enjoy the rest of your summer and stay healthy.

That’s good news. My mom was hit recently, with exposure to the rest of the family. None of us became infected. Go figure.

Great news. I thought I was going to die last night. Luckily kate has not tested positive, yet. I can’t imagine both of us going through this simultaneously.

All the best to you. My wife is a front line physician, who escaped it for 2.5 years, tested positive yesterday. She’s quarantining while I chase after our 3 kids. It’s no fun, and hope you recover quickly. Thanks for all you do for this community.

Great to hear, man. That sounds like a pretty quick recovery and hopefully none of the long-haul symptoms for either of you.

Keep working on your immune systems: vitamins and proteins by the truckloads. It worked for my recovery.
